Customer Service Representatives - $15.50/hour

Take Charge America (TCA) is a non-profit organization. Our mission is to educate consumers so they can manage their money wisely, use credit sensibly and save for the future. TCA is located near I-17 & Loop 101.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented and creative problem-solvers. Individuals with a positive attitude who are non-judgmental and have the ability to withstand pressure. Must be able to communicate effectively and be comfortable in a high-volume work environment. We also require strong keyboard and software navigation skills.

As a financial counselor you will:

• Evaluates and qualifies prospective clients for Take Charge America (TCA) debt management program.
• Provide an in depth budget analysis and credit counseling to potential clients
• Provide recommendations based on findings in budget analysis and referrals to other assistance organizations
• Review creditor referrals, pending and past due accounts
• Make courtesy follow up calls to clients/potential clients
• Work in an encouraging team environment; sit for long periods of time

Skills/ Requirements

• One year finance, mortgage, housing counseling, debt management, collections, banking, or call center experience strongly preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required (college degree preferred)
• 12+ months of continuous employment with one employer preferred
• Must be able to type at least 25 words per minute
• *Must pass the AFCPE exam within 12 months of employment*

Important Notes Hours of operation:
Monday - Thursday 5:00a-8:00p
Friday 5:00a-6:00p
Rotating Saturday 6:00a-2:30p
